Having graduated from the Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts in Phoenix, MD in the spring of 2023, Lucas Baylor Wilson is a licensed audio engineer with experience in both live sound and studio recording. Since graduating, he has worked numerous gigs in both live and studio environments, including being called back to Sheffield to assist in both volunteer and contractor capacities. On top of his contractor and volunteer work, Lucas also works as a sound tech for Inner Arbor Trust, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that hosts free live music events at Merriweather Park in Columbia, MD.
Aside from his audio engineer work, Lucas is a talented "jack-of-all-trades" multi-instrumentalist. Some of the instruments he is most proficient in include guitar, banjo, trumpet, flugelhorn, and voice. He plays trumpet for the Southern Maryland Concert Band, and plays trumpet and flugelhorn, as well as sings, in the College of Southern Maryland's Latin Ensemble Ritmo Caché.
Lucas is also a skilled songwriter, having been consistently writing songs since the age of nine. He is currently a member of the College of Southern Maryland's Composers Club.
